Oh well...

It looks like I won't be going part time any time soon.
I talked with my supervisor today and she said most likely that wouldn't happen the way I need it to happen, so we are going to just let the matter drop. (though she hasn't actually talked to the big guy- this was just her take on it)

I'm sort of dissapointed as I started to think about how great it would be to be home more. But I also can't work part time without insurance, and I also don't want to quit here and get a part time job somewhere else as I really enjoy what I do.

For a minute there I thought I was going to get the best of both the stay at home mommy and working mommy worlds... but I guess it was too good to be true.

So ya, a little dissappointed am I today.
