Rest... what's that?
(shakes head like dog) Wake up!
I've decided I really need to get back on the workout routine and start drinking more water because I'm SO lethargic! I just can't get a grip on the whole "rest" thing and really need some caffeine injections.
Sorry I haven't blogged in a few days, chalk it up to the whole lethargic thing... maybe it's a bout of chronic fatigue, or maybe it's a bout of chronically wanting to spend my days outside tanning/reading/playing with my daughter, yet having to be inside under florescent lights getting more pasty white. I think it might be more of the latter.
But hey, I have health insurance (positive thought process)
The weekend went swell as you can tell by my last few blogs. Saturday night we went to the Ranger Game. Tiffani's dad is about to sublet the suite, so it's one of the last few times we'll go. Lyric had a fun time. She thought she was so cute and got really hyper.

She spent most the evening with her mouth open for some reason, see:

Giving Ry-Ry high five, or maybe that's more of a low five

Tired Destiny and Lyric

Then on Sunday we had Church. Austin and I sang a song and I sounded like crap on the chorus the first time we sang it. We only practiced it once and I've only sung along to the song in my head, so actually singing it I had to do it a few times to get it down the way I should sing it. It got really cringe worthy at the chorus, if you don't believe me, go download the podcast, Simon Cowell would have thrown me out of the room! But the 2nd time we sang it, it sounded MUCH better, but of course, that part didn't get recorded. Austin sounded great though, so kudos to him! And my dad preached a fantastic message, so kudos to him too!
Speaking of my dad, he and my mom leave in a few days on their trip. They are going to be gone and ENTIRE MONTH!
I have no idea what I'm going to do without them, yet I know how much fun they are going to be having. But I'm not sure if that is worse, knowing that they are having ridiculous amounts of awesomeness, and I'm stuck here, in my office with the florescent lighting and pasty white skin.
Well anyways, Sunday after Church we had a surprise birthday party for Marian Briscoe at my parent's house. It was great and we had a great turn out!
Here is Jesse hiding

Here is her surprise:
Yesterday I was suposed to go work out, but then realized I only had time to either
1. workout
2. go to the grocery store
(jon had plans that evening)
So I chose food over sweatyness. Court and I both went to Walmart and did all of our food shopping for the week and then came back home (to her house), cooked dinner, ate dinner, put the kids to bed and then watched Charlie Wilson's War.
I got home and Jon still wasn't home (he went out for Josh Briscoe's birthday). Well he got home around midnight and the dog was sleeping with me, when he came in, Jedi went crazy barking, which woke up the baby. The wonderfully sympathetic wife I am said, "You woke her up (though indirectly), you deal with her." Well it took him almost an hour and a half till she fully fell back asleep. I slept right through it, even through the screams of frustration, "WHY WON'T SHE GO BACK TO SLEEP!"
I'm so unsympathetic :) Hey, would you like me to start listing all the times he slept through her crying and I was the one up? Well I couldn't because the instances number the stars of the sky.
So that was the last few days in a nut shell.
It is SO gorgeous today! I wish I was outside right now... sigh.
Ok, well I need to finish something really quick.
Later people!
