Still Sick
Well my little munchkin still has a double ear infection.
She started acting a little strange again on Saturday and Sunday, especially Sunday night, where she didn't sleep very well.
Then Monday Christina said she pulled on her ear a lot, SO yes, I left work a little early and took her to the doctor and sure enough, she still has fluid in her ears and they are still red and inflamed. Good times.
So they gave her a different antibiotic and now we'll see if this ear infection goes away.
It really stinks though because one of the worst things about your kids being sick is that you don't get any sleep either.
I was almost in tears because I just wanted to sleep and that kid kept crying and crying. Finally I brought her in bed with me and fell asleep and I assume she did too. BUt then she started tossing and turning and Jon got up and put her back to bed and she stayed asleep.
I feel so bad for her, that must totally suck to be sick for almost 2 weeks now.
But she still is cute!
Here's some proof

She obviously felt the stroller tasted yummy

Today has been an okay day. I'm just tired, so it's hard for me to be perky today. AND Brenda was out for the day so my office was quiet.
I need something good to happen to me soon.

ok so having been there with the double ear infection thing and all i do have a few tips, other than the antibotic, to help her nip it.
1. cut out the milk and cheese from her diet for awhile. some kids are allergic or sensitive to it and as a result they develop ear infections. yogart is a better preference when wanting to elminate dairy from the diet but still needing to offer calcium.
2. xlear, it's a nasal spray that contains xylitol, which study suggests helps fight the bacteria that causes ear infections.
3. forgo washing her hair when possible as to not risk water getting in there.
4. odwalla super food juice. it'll help give her body extra good fighing agents to help kick this infection in the arse.
5. don't vaccinate her while she is sick!!!! and next time you do make sure she gets her next round of the pneumoccal. it's suppose to do something to help ear infections not occur.
6. put her and you to bed early.
oh and yes, she still is adorable!!!
Sorry she is still sick. Hang in there! I agree-she is still adorable!
