Happy Mother's Day!
Well today is Mother's Day!
I am extra blessed this Mother's Day, but we won't get into that now. However, I just wanted to say Happy Mother's Day out there to every mother out there!
Being a mother has been the greatest adventure of my life! Watching my little girl grow and discover things and knowing that she is completely healthy, happy and secure is the best feeling and the ultimate fulfillment!
Today was the end of the conference we've been attending all weekend and it was great. Banning brought a pretty awesome word. Although I totally agree with it, what he didn't really have time to delve into was the fact that it requires an alignment on both sides. I think it's easy to have his revelation and walk it out when you have Bill Johnson, Cindy Jacobs and Lou Engle as your "older generation"...
Ok, that was a tangent. Anyways, today after church we went to Grapevine and ate at a restaurant there on Main Street. My grandparents took all of us kids out and it was fun. I mean how can it not be fun when I'm there?
Afterwards, all us kids walked around Main Street and had some fun. I bought a great smelling candle called Mediterranean Fig... mmmm....!
Here are some pics of the day:
My nieces Ashlyn and Kadyn

There is a store there called Ashlin and we told my niece Ashlyn it was her store :)

Finally, I would just like tell everyone that my mother is the best mother in the entire world. She is awesome and sweet and giving and loving, she doesn't have a selfish bone in her body and she is so loved by all of us. I love her so much and am missing her dreadfully right now. She is have a fantastic time though, and I can't begrudge her that, but her family is really missing her today on Mother's Day. It's hard when all you want to do is honor your mother and she's not there to hug or give a card to (although mine would probably be inappropriate- per usual). We love you mom and we missed you today!
I hope everyone else out there had a great Mother's Day. Hopefully the hubby's stepped up and you got a little bit of a break today, or at least a nap.
Much love!

Actually my goal was to write a post about Mother's Day.
But with regards to the small paragraph on Banning's message, I don't feel like what I said cast a negative shadow AT ALL. I talked about how awesome I thought the message was and that I totally agreed with what he was talking about. I just said that he didn't have time to go into the other 1/2 of it, I would have liked to hear the entire message. I was just pointing out that it's easier to live out that message when your older generation are people totally sold out and are giving their lives to see young people raised up and established the right way. That's not the norm in most churches. The alignment goes both ways.
and PS.
If you are going to leave a slightly negative comment on my blog, please leave your name.
Okay, I keep thinking you are going to say you are pregnant. I totally agree with the other person who said I'm wondering about why you're extra blessed! Promise when you're pregnant you'll just say I'M PREGNANT!! You are a great Mommy & hope you had a great day..come out to Cali, we'd have so much fun! love you-Embry
