I've decided to announce it
I can't keep it in anymore.. yes it's only been 5 days, but seriously people, when you can't blog about something that is a huge deal, it messes with you.
So, after thinking about it, I must announce that the Vandeputs are adding to their clan! :) Yes I'm pregnant!!!!
The reason I was waiting to say anything is because I am wanting to wait until I have my first doctor's appointment until I announce it to my boss. That way I will have a better idea of when the due date is and we can make sure everything is normal (which of course it will be).
I had started writing blogs when I found out on Saturday... once again, I found out super early so this is going to make this pregnancy OH so long! But oh well! So I decided to take those few posts out of draft status and publish them! :)
I'm only 4 weeks right now, but I tried to not blog about this and it was just too hard and the thought of not blogging about this for another 6 weeks was too much to deal with. I don't know if anyone from my office reads my blog, but if they do, I would hope that they would respect my desire to wait till I've seen my OB before I announce anything and start having to have some sort of plan of action regarding my future work schedule together. If not, oh well, it's a baby people! Something to totally celebrate!!

congratulations destiny and jon! we are so happy for you guys. your parents come in this morning (and kish is staying with matt and i right now)...wish you guys were around too. love, serah
YEAH!!!!!!!! I am so excited for you all! I was wondering if you would be announce something in the near future. We'll be praying for a wonderful pregnancy, renewed energy and strength, and for insurance that allows you to work part time or better yet stay-at-home! :)
