My day of rest
Oh wow. Yesterday was EXACTLY what I needed. When I woke up for work today I felt rejuvinated. I felt calm. I felt like I could take the day on!
I just really needed yesterday off and just gave myself time to breathe. Although I did miss a deadline (that I didn't know I had) so I scrambled to get it done today.
After a wonderful lunch at OTB with my parents and buying Ashlyn some books Lyric was pretty tired and so I took her to Christina's to take a nap and then off I went to Barnes and Noble where I spent the next TWO hours perusing through aisles of books, and then nestling myself in front of my new book, a diet coke and a cookie in some corner and read. That may not sound like fun to all of you, but that is my kind of afternoon! Every time I go to the bookstore, I'm rushed. And to have two unrushed hours yesterday was like heaven. I actually got to investigate and found a great new trilogy to read. The first one is called Dragon Song.
Last night was dinner and saying goodbye to my parents and today has been pretty uneventful. Busy, but uneventful.
Now I'm wrapping up the last few things before the weekend!! yippee!!
On a totally random note, I would just like to show off the newest addition to the Benjamin clan, my brother Austin's girlfriend Hannah (also known as one of the Baker girls). They've been friends for awhile but just recently decided to make it official... aww! Aren't they cute! :)
Well tonight we are having a pizza and beer shabbat since my parent's are gone and my mom won't be there to cast a disapproving glare! :) Gotta love those! :)

finally!!! I mean really how long can you say there's nothing going on and people are suppose to buy that! PTL for coming out of the closet :) Way to go Austin!!!
I have been waiting for Austin to come out of the closet for years...I knew it!!!
