Thongs = Necklace
Well my daughter has started to do something interesting.
Let's start out with saying that Lyric loves to help me fold laundry. And by folding I mean taking the laundry I just folded and putting it back into the basket causing me to groan in frustration, tell her no and refold the laundry. This is one of her favorite things to do, and also a reason I tend to wait till she goes to bed till I start that particular chore. I'm not sure when it dawned her that thongs can also act as a necklace, but being the genius my daughter is, she has now found a dual use for my undies. For your viewing pleasure.

Don't worry, they are clean. She hasn't discovered where the dirty laundry is kept... YET. Yes, it's kind of weird, yes, a little unhygienic... but seriously, if it makes her happy to prance around the house wearing mommies Victoria's Secret wrapped around that tiny little neck of hers, more power to her! That is until mommy's Victoria's Secret, becomes someone elses...
Well this morning I get an email from Christina (Lyric's sitter) and she wrote telling me that she was blow drying her hair and into the bathroom walks Lyric and Saeler with her undies around their neck. She went in the bedroom to discover where they found thier new toys and realized that they had gotten into the pile of clean clothes. I'm sure Saeler just joined in b/c she saw Lyric doing it.
I can just imagine the mind speak scenario
Lyric: Oh wow. Your mom wears these necklace things too?
Saeler: I guess so, what are they?
Lyric: You don't know?
Saeler: No, what are they?
Lyric: They are only the coolest necklaces ever. They are magic because when you wear them, people always laugh outloud at you.
Saeler: Really?
Lyric: Ya
Saeler: Like even funnier then when I just randomly walk up to people and
say "DoDo"
Lyric: yup, even funnier
Saeler: Awesome! Let's find 2 and each wear one!
Lyric: Just what I was thinking
So yes, my daughter likes to wear my thongs around her neck like a necklace. There are worst things in the world... at least she's not smoking pot.

Seriously, I'm laughing out loud! That was hilarious! I'm sure that's exactly how they communicate! And of course, you had to throw that "do do" in there! I'm still laughing! I walked into the kitchen right before I read this and on the floor are the undies (plus a few more pairs) that they were accessorizing with! Ha!

now imagine my husband's mortification when conrad use to do the same thing with mine.
