John and Kate Plus 8--- Evil??
Ok, I love this show, but even when watching it, I could obviously see that Kate seems to be not a nice person. Not saying I wouldn't be crazy with 8 kids also, but she has always just seemed like a sort of over the line, obsessive compulsive, very harsh lady. However, even saying that, I love the show! I just always had my questions about Kate.
Well yesterday I started hearing rumblings that a family member of John and Kate's has started a blog basically ripping Kate.
Apparently, Jodi (the sister who always keeps the kids) was not allowed to be on the show again by Kate. The word on the blog is that Kate didn't want her to get paid for being on the show as a caregiver, even though she kept the kids the most. The network offered to pay her a caregiver fee, but Kate said no one makes money off their family but them... she had been blocking a salary for Jodi for the last 2 years. And apparently Kate admitted this.
Anyways, it's an interesting read. She's only posted like 10 or so blogs

I love J&K+8 and yes Kate is bitchy & neurotic, but it's her family and her life and nobody lives it but her. Kate is responsible for her own reactions public and private. I read Jodi's sisters blog and while I understand wanting to defend her sister...she really shouldn't be fighting her sister's battles or getting involved. Jodi is an adult and if she has to have her sister fight her batlles through a blog then maybe Jodi is a doormat.
My summary of Jodi's sisters blog is that she is acting the same as Kate...she's just manifesting it through writing a blog instead of on camera. When you spend that much time trying to prove that someone is an insesitive bitch(when we can all assess that for ourselves by watching the show) by being a bitch themselves...I think you void the point.
Oh, and some may be surprised by my language,but this whole thing irritated me...so pardon my French...I had to vent!
I pretty much feel the same way. And even though the sister keeps saying OVER and over again that it's not about money, obviously it is, because that's all she keeps talking about.
I wonder if Jodi has "sanctioned" this blog, or if the sister is just going off on her own... who knows! I'm sure there is more to it than what she is saying.
What I find to be ironic about the whole thing is the show isn't about Jodie. Yes, she may or may not be a wonderful person. Yes, she may or may not be a wonderful aunt. The sister seems to be so upset with Jon & Kate for making money, but it is their family and obviously they are not doing it for free. So, why is the sister upset? She apparently wants Jodie to make $ too!
I know I certainly couldn't afford 8 kids. God bless them for being creative and providing for their family!
