New Schedule!
I’m sure you may all by tired of my bi-polar ramblings, but again, having one of those days I just want to quit work and be a stay at home mom. Why you may ask? Because I’m tired. That’s honestly the bottom line. When I have energy I love my job, when I’m tired, I view it as a burden that I don’t want to carry. I’m sure everyone feels that way.
It doesn’t help that I’m in the middle of a research project that is boring me to tears.
So what do I do to combat this anti-work mentality? I get a diet coke from the machine upstairs and eat a snack and hope that the sugar and caffine rush will jump start my day.
I think it may also have to do with the fact that I am in the middle of putting Lyric on a new schedule and I wish I could be home for a few days to make sure she gets on it right. We are cutting out a bottle, the lunch time one to be exact. And I’m also trying to start getting her off of baby food and on to regular food.
Today she is going to eat a jelly sandwich and some fruit.
Here is my plan, so we’ll see how it works:
March 3 (3 bottles): Morning bottle, oatmeal/banana/ or baby food
Lunch: Sandwich/something- no baby food and no bottle
After Nap (around 4p): Bottle and a snack
Dinner: whatever we are eating
9p: Bottle
March 18 (2 bottles): Morning bottle, oatmeal/banana/something
(no more baby food) Lunch: Sandwich/something- no baby food and no bottle
After Nap (around 4p): Snack of crackers- no bottle
Dinner: whatever we are eating
9p: Bottle
March 25 (1 bottle): Breakfast of oatmeal/banana/something (no bottle)
Lunch: Sandwich/something- no baby food and no bottle
After Nap (around 4p): Snack - no bottle
Dinner: whatever we are eating
9p: Bottle
April 8 (totally off): Breakfast of oatmeal/banana/something (no bottle)
Lunch: Sandwich/something- no baby food and no bottle
After Nap (around 4p): Snack, no bottle
Dinner: whatever we are eating
So wish me luck!
It has been so wonderful to have my husband home… how great was it to wake up and just get myself ready?? It was pretty freaking amazing! I am so lucky to have a husband that is such a hands on father and who takes his role as a dad just as seriously as I take my role as mom. He doesn’t complain (for the most part) and just gets her ready and takes her to Christina’s. It is so nice!
I am looking for some more lunch and breakfast ideas for an 11 month old. She can’t use a spoon and I don’t want to have to give her a bath after every meal, so something that isn’t super messy. Let me know some ideas you moms have.
Okay, well I better get back to work. I feel my diet coke starting to give me some more energy!! Oh ya! Now I get to enthusiastically research 737-200/300’s!
